the temperature has dropped in the past week. i'm chilly. it rained a bunch. is it really fall? now i'm trying to adjust to real seasons again. and realizing that i have a shortage of socks since i rarely needed them in new mexico.
i really want to buy a new laptop but it's hard for me to work up the nerve to spend that kind of money. it's a struggle. i am cheap. or maybe thrifty is a better word for it.
last night i bought tickets to see broken social scene in october. yeeesss.
i went to the downtown branch of the chicago public library on saturday to get my library card. it is the largest public library in the nation. it looks like it's straight out of gotham city. it has a 'winter garden' on the top floor altho i didn't have time to use it but hope to go back soon to snap some photos.
nothing much is new. it's funny how quickly i have established the everyday routine. am i really a routinized person? a: yes.
